Position Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Permitting Specialist to join our team in either Cherry Hill or Wall, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in environmental permitting, with a strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the environmental permitting process for various projects, including but not limited to wetlands, stormwater, air quality, and land use permits.
  • Conduct thorough research on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate the permitting process.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory compliance documents.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on environmental permitting matters.
  • Monitor permit conditions and deadlines and ensure timely renewal and compliance reporting.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental permitting, preferably in the Cherry Hill or Wall, NJ area.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with GIS software and environmental modeling tools is a plus.
  • Frequent travel and/or field work to our clients’ sites. (Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required)
  • Ability and willingness to support various groups and manage a variety of parallel tasks.
