Position Summary

 

We are seeking multiple Construction Inspectors with roofing, siding, site work and masonry experience to work in the common interest communities to work at and for common interest communities servicing all of NJ and our eastern Pennsylvania communities. The position would be based in our Wall Township office.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform various types of interior and exterior inspections including a minimum roofing, siding, facades, site work and paving.
  • Document existing conditions, create reports and obtain photographs.
  • Develop strong and long-term relationships with clients and property managers.
  • Inspections might also include balconies, decks, stormwater management facilities and other areas required for our clients.
  • Drive company vehicles, use ladders, walk, and inspect communities, schedule appointments, and correspond with clients.
  • Knowledge and experience in inspection work is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in site and/or building construction for senior inspectors.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with Community Associations a plus.
  • Able to climb scaffolding and ladders.
  • Comfortable with computer software, and experience with excel and word.
  • Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills, ability to prepare and write reports in a timely manner.
  • Comfortable working around construction site, some estimating of material quantities and financial matters.
  • Willing to learn, be trained and earn accreditation.
  • Responsive and dependable to meet deadlines and follow scope of project.
  • Able to use Fieldwire Construction Management Software a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s license
